SUB: Computerised processing of Shipping Bills under the Indian Customs EDI

System(Export) New Custom House, Mangalore – Corrigendum to P.N. 7/2000

dated 12/07/2000.

Attention of Exporters/Importers/CHAs and all others concerned is drawn towards Public Notice No.6/2000 dated 22.6.2000 and 7/2000 dated 12/07/2000 wherein the trade was informed regarding computerised processing of all the White Shipping Bills, Drawback Shipping Bills and Shipping Bills involving levy of Cess at New Custom House, Mangalore.

The Cess Schedule appended as Annexure ‘D’ to the Public Notice 7/2000 dated 22/07/2000 may be replaced with the latest Cess Schedule as appended to this Public Notice. Processing of the Drawback Shipping Bills and Shipping Bills involving Cess was scheduled to be introduced under the EDI System from 25/07/2000 as per the Public Notice No. 7/2000 dated 12/07/2000. All concerned are informed that the date for commencement of the EDI processing of these Shipping Bills has been postponed. The new date will be intimated in due course.
