Sub: Customs – Conducting Examination for Custom House Agents

under Regulation – 9 of CHA LR on 12.06.2003 – Reg.

It is proposed to conduct a written examination under Regulation – 9 of CHALR 1984 (as amended) for Custom House Agents on 12.06.2003 from 10 AM to 1 PM as per the instruction of Directorate General of Inspection vide letter F.No.1191/11/2003-Confl dated 21-04-2003. The venue of the examination will be New Custom House, Panambur, Mangalore.

The applications for the above examination are invited from the licensed Custom House Agents nominating their eligible candidates who are graduates from any recognized University and holders of “G” card for a minimum period of 3 years. The eligible candidates intending to take up the examination are required to pay examination fee of Rs. 500/- as per regulation 9 of CHALR 1984.

The applications along with photocopy of the CHA licence, proof of educational qualification, photocopy of valid Identity card in form “G”, two passport size photographs and challan for having paid the examination fee should be filed in this office on or before 12-05-2003 for registering their names. The applications received after the due date will not be considered.
